Treating ourself is at the essence of learning Reiki, we connect to the life force which will support us in balancing our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being.
Without balance, it is difficult to make good decisions and form healthy habits.
The easiest way to form a self practice came from my Reiki Master, who taught to lay our hands on tummy and chest (or wherever is comfortable) as we drift off to sleep at night and when we wake in the morning.
We can give ourselves Reiki every day without taking up our precious day time. As we see changes occurring in our lives, it becomes easier to create time for an intention based practice in a more alert state 😉
There are, of course, 101 ways to fit self Reiki into our routine, some are obvious, other take a little more imagination!
